Simon Commission

You must have read about the Simon Commission in the history books and also because of this, a great personality of our country, which was involved in the fight of freedom, had died due to lathi charge. Although Bhagat Singh had taken his altercation with his colleagues, but the damage that could not be compensated could not be compensated
Simon Commission was a group of British MPs in which a total of seven MPs were involved and the purpose was to suggest some changes to the constitution under British rule in India. It was formed in 1927. It was a committee of the same kind as if in today’s India, any controversy is formed for the problem, which gives suggestions for changes that can be made by setting a subject specific for improvement and suggestions.

This name of Simon Commission was also named in the same way as “John Simon” who was the chairman of this committee comprising a group of seven members. In protest of this commission, the whole of India was united and at that time many people Lala Lajpat Rai was also in the limelight, who died due to strikes on his chest, after which Bhagat Singh along with his colleagues took revenge. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Govind Vallabh Pant were both injured. This was the day of 30 oct 1928.

When Lala Lajpat Rai was critically injured and was an English officer to hurt him, Scott. Although Scott was escaped somehow because Bhagat Singh had planned to kill him with his colleagues then Sanders was killed in the place of Scott. One reason for Bhagat Singh hanging was because he had been jailed for throwing bombs in Parliament, but the British officers managed to prove that Sanders had also been killed by Bhagat Singh. On 3 February Simon Commission came to India and there were demonstrations against it all over the country.
